Kakinada: A 45-year-old person, who was admitted to the Kakinada Government General Hospital (KGGH), tested positive for swine flu (H1N1). According to sources, the person from Pithapuram in East Godavari district was referred to a corporate hospital initially and on noticing the symptoms, he was sent to KGGH three days ago.
His condition is said to be stable. This was the fourth case of swine flu in East Godavari district. Two persons – a man and a woman in their mid-twenties – from Dowlaiswaram and one pregnant woman from Razole, who tested positive for H1N1, were successfully treated in the Kakinada GGH in the last one-and-a-half months.
