Rajamahendravaram: Adikavi Nannaya University is developing into a top varsity in the State, claimed vice-chancellor Murru Muthyala Naidu.
He addressed a media conference, here on Saturday, to mark the completion of 10 years of the varsity. He informed that the University has become the largest varsity in the State with 440 affiliated colleges and 1.25 lakh students.
He informed that training was being provided to students by setting up 18 skill development centres and added that the varsity has adopted 290 villages through
“We have inked MoUs with 18 varsities with the international standards in order to provide foreign education, besides employment as well as the research.
An action plan has been formulated for the digital library in the varsity from the next academic year. Plans are in place to set up cultural study centre, The Union government has announced Institute of Hospitality and Management with Rs 18 crore to the university,” he informed and added that the Chief Minister has assured of Rs 46 crore in funds for the development of infrastructure.
