BENGALURU: A special new Humsafar Express train between Howrah and Yesvantpur will be flagged off from Howrah railway station on Friday by the Union railway minister Suresh Prabhu. It is good news for those who commute to the eastern part of the country – Andhra Pradesh,Telengana,Orissa and Bengal.
The inaugural Humsafar Express will run with open timings and will have stoppages at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatanam, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Ongole, Renigunta and Katpadi.
The new train will have a composition of 16-Three Tier AC Coaches, 1-AC Hot Buffet Car and Two Brake Luggage cum Generator Car.
The regular run of the new trains will start from Yesvantpur from January 26 (Every Thursday) and from Howrah from(January 31.(Every Tuesday).
