Speaking on the occasion, he said that the students, who completed Class X in 2016, were selected by their academic performance. The main aim of IPIF is support meritorious students from economically weaker sections.
The company also recognised 50 recipients for academic support under Project Saathi, an employee initiative, for supporting students of the IP APPM Model High School in Rajamahendravaram. Project Saathi is funded by contributions from employees of IP APPM.
He said: “We lay emphasis on CSR initiatives, especially education. The IP India scholarships were instrumental in promoting the deserving students who are excelling in their career.
As of now, we have sponsored more than 200 students. I hope our scholarship recipients continue to excel in their education and career”.
