Facelift to Krishna wildlife santuary
Environment minister Sidda Raghava Rao said Krishna wildlife sanctuary will be developed in a big way to attract tourists.
He also said that Maredumillijungle camp in Rajahmundry will be developed with a jungle safari, jungle camp, cottages, deluxe tents, cafeteria and boating jetties. “Along with Krishna wildlife sanctuary, Koraturu jungle camp in Papikondalu national park, Thalakona and Paracharla eco-tourism projects will also be developed by providing better facilities,” he said. He said researchers have facilities to conduct studies on nature and tribal life, he said and added that all the four projects will help empower tribals financially. “The eco-tourism park at Bairlutulli in Kurnool district is ready and will be opened soon.
