Kakinada, Jul 5 (UNI) The total number of COVID-19 cases have gone up to 1,955 in East Godavari district with 148 more tested positive all over the district on Sunday, according to official sources.
Of these fresh cases, 72 are alone from Rajahmundry city and 26 from Kakinada while 19 from Pithapuram town and suburban areas. Uppada Kothapalli has registered eight fresh positive cases, Samalkot 4, Peddapuram 3 and Sithanagaram, Atreyapuram 2 cases each. Alamuru, Chintoor, Gandepalli, Gokavaram, Ayinavilli, Kadiyam, Ravulapalem, Sakhinetipalli and Sankhavaram mandals recorded one each.
